Abstract

Mikorizne zajednice temelj su uspješnog razvoja većine biljaka u različitim ekosustavima. Stoga, od velikog je značaja istraživanje utjecaja različitih tvari na mikorizne gljive, a osobito u pogledu bioremedijacije. U današnje vrijeme sve je više tvari antropogenog podrijetla koje imaju toksično djelovanje na mikorizne gljive. Mikorizne gljive posjeduju različite mehanizme tolerancije na stres izazvan onečišćenjem. Oslobađanje teških metala u tlo ovisi o raznim okolišnim uvjetima što znači da će negativni utjecaj na mikorizosfere biti varijabilan. Stoga je potrebno bolje razumijevanje razine izdržljivosti do koje mikorizne gljive mogu podnositi stres bez uočljivih štetnih posljedica te mehanizme kojima mogu umanjiti štetan utjecaj toksikanata. Bolje je proučen utjecaj zastupljenijih toksikanata u okolišu kao što su teški metali, međutim, nužna su istraživanja djelovanja i drugih skupina toksikanata na mikorizne gljive. Naposljetku, važno je naglasiti da unatoč tome što se provode mnoga istraživanja na navedenu temu s izolatima gljiva u laboratorijima, potrebno ih je još više izvoditi i u prirodnim uvjetima.

Abstract (english)

Mycorrhizal associations are essential for a successful development of most plants in various ecosystems. Therefore, it is highly important to study the effects of different substances on mycorrhizal fungi, especially in terms of a bioremediation. In modern days, a number of antropogenically generated substances which have toxic effects on mycorrhizal fungi is increasing. Mycorrhizal fungi have various mechanisms of tolerance to stress caused by pollution. The release of heavy metals in soil depends on various environmental conditions which means that the negative impact on mycorhizospheres will be variable. Hence, better understanding of endurance levels of stress in mycorrhizal fungi is needed along the mechanisms by which they reduce the negative effects of pollutants. The effects of substances that are more common in environment such as heavy metals have been more studied, however, more research should be done to study the effects of other classes of pollutants. Finally, it is important to mention that even though a lot of research has been done on isolates of fungi in laboratories, even more studies in the natural environment have to be made on this topic.
