Abstract

Prostor Međimurja sastavni je dio megageomorfološke regije Panonskog bazena te je oblikovan tijekom kvartara pod utjecajem tektonike, fluvijalnih i fluvio-denudacijskih procesa. Međimurje se sastoji od dviju subgeomorfoloških regija: Međimurskih gorica te nizina rijeke Drave i Mure. Međimurske gorice predstavljaju nisko pobrđe gdje vodeću ulogu u oblikovanju reljefa imaju padinski procesi. Nizinskim prostorom rijeka Drave i Mure dominira fluvijalni tip reljefa koji je oblikovan erozijskim i akumulacijskim radom rijeka. Metodama terenskog istraživanja i kartiranja, te geomorfološkom analizom i sintezom istražene su osobine, geneza i evolucija reljefa te je izrađena digitalna geomorfološka karta Međimurja.

Abstract (english)

The area of MeĊimurje is an integral part of the megageomorphological region of the Pannonian basin and was formed during the Quaternary under the influence of tectonics, fluvial and denudation processes. MeĊimurje consists of two subgeomorphological regions: Međimurske gorice and the lowland of the river Drava and river Mura. Međimurske gorice is a low hill area, where derasion processes had the leading role in the shaping of relief. Lowland area of the Drava and Mura rivers is dominated by the fluvial type of relief which was shaped by erosion and accumulation of rivers. On the basis of the performed fieldwork and mapping, geomorphological analyses and synthesis, the genesis and rilief evolution have been determined.
