Abstract
U radu se prikazuje razvoj prostorne strukture Sesveta od sredine 20. stoljeća do danas. Zahvaljujući blizini Zagreba i razvijenoj industriji, u drugoj polovici 20. stoljeća u Sesvetama dolazi do naglog razvoja funkcionalno – prostorne, socijalno - prostorne i morfološke strukture. Sesvete doživljavaju veliki populacijski rast, mijenjaju izgled, funkcije i način života. Danas su one administrativno, funkcionalno i fizionomski sastavni dio Grada Zagreba.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents the development of spatial structure of Sesvete, from the mid-20th century to the present. Thanks to the vicinity of Zagreb and developed industry, in the second half of the 20th century, Sesvete sudden development of functional-spatial, socio spatial and morfological structures. Sesvete experienced significant population growth, changing the appearance, function and manner of life. Today Sesvete are the administrative, functional and spatially an integral part of the City of Zagreb.
