Abstract

Baština u Osječko-baranjskoj županiji nije jednako valorizirana kao u ostalim županijama Hrvatske, ali je među Slavonskim regijama vodeća prema broju posjetitelja i promidžbi. Relativno dobar geografski položaj i bogatstvo kulturne i prirodne baštine omogućio je bolju afirmaciju u kulturnom turizmu. Zaštićena prirodna i kulturna baština se većinom svodi na muzeje i izložbe, a glavni nositelji su gradovi Osječko-baranjske županije. Kultura života i rada dobiva sve veće značenje u turističkoj ponudi te obuhvaća sva naselja županije. Prestaje biti dopunska djelatnost i postala je nositelj kulturno-turističke ponude. Perspektiva daljnjeg razvoja se očituje u raznim budućim projektima i međunarodnim suradnjama za što bolju promidžbu i kvalitetniju kulturno-turističku ponudu Osječko-baranjske županije.

Abstract (english)

The heritage in Osijek-Baranja county is not equally valuated as in other counties of Croatia. When comparing to other counties in Slavonia region, it is among the leading in number of visitors as well as marketing. Relatively good geographical position and wealth of cultural and natural heritage enabled Osijek-Baranja county better affirmation in cultural tourism. Protected natural and cultural heritage is mainly consisted of museums and all sorts of exibitions, with cities as the leading carriers in Osijek-Baranja county. Culture of life and labour is getting on more and more significance in tourist offer of settlements. It has stopped being supplementary activity and has become the main offer in cultural tourism in the county. Perspective of future development will manifest itself in different projects and international cooperation for better marketing and tourist offer of cultural heritage in Osijek-Baranja county.
