Abstract

U radu su istražene demografske i prostorne karakteristike naselja na području Istarske županije. Osnovni metodološki pristup izradi ovoga rada čini korištenje statističkih podataka popisa stanovništva iz 2001. i 2011. godine. Analizi naseljenosti u radu pristupilo se koristeći geografsku metodološku posebnost. Glavni trendovi, procesi i pojave u suvremenom naseljavanju Istarske županije, objašnjeni su kroz anketne odgovore ispitanika koji su sudjelovali u anketnom istraživanju. Najčešći razlozi preseljenja su obiteljski razlozi, u suštini uvjetovani i postojećim gospodarskim i društvenim kretanjima, nakon kojih slijedi bolja kvaliteta života od one u gradskim središnjim naseljima, a potom i povoljnija cijena nekretnina. U radu su također razmotrena moguća buduća kretanja u naseljavanju Županije i nedostaci koji proizlaze lošim upravljanjem istarskim prostorom.

Abstract (english)

This paper examines the demographic and spatial characteristics of the settlements in the county of Istria. The main methodological approach used in this work consists of using the statistics from the croatian population census of the years 2001. and 2011. The istrian population in this paper is examined by using the geographic methodological peculiarity. The main trends, processes and phenomena in the modern settlement of Istria, are explained through the survey responses of respondents who participated in the survey made for this paper. The most common reasons for relocating include family reasons, essentially conditioned by the existing economic and social developments, followed by the better quality of life than the quality of life in the cities, followed by the favorable real estate prices. The paper also discusses the possible future developments in the settlement of the county and disadvantages arising mismanagement of space in Istria.
