Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad podijeljen je na dvije cjeline. Prva cjelina bavi se nastankom i urbanim razvojem četiriju sportsko-rekreacijskih područja u gradu Zagrebu. Ta područja su: Zapadni (današnji Mažuranićev i Marulićev trg) i Južni perivoj (danas Mihanovićeva ulica), visoravan Šalata, područje užeg dijela perivoja Maksimir i livade Svetice južno od njega, te područje uz rijeku Savu s kupalištima i drugim sportsko-rekreacijskim sadržajima. Druga cjelina je više analitička i bavi se financiranjem sporta u Zagrebu, ekonomskim učincima sporta, važnosti menadžmenta, menadžera i poduzetništva u sportu, upravljanjem, razvojem i kriterijima izgradnje sportskih objekata, analizama postojećeg stanja izgrađenosti te smjernicama za uspješniji budući razvoj.

Abstract (english)

This thesis is divided into two parts. The first section deals with the emergence of the urban development of four sports and recreational area in Zagreb. These areas are: Western (now Mažuranić and Marulić Square) and South park (today Mihanovićeva street), Plateau Šalata, the relevant area of Maksimir Park and meadows Svetice south of it, and the area along the Sava river with bathing and other recreational activities. The second section is more analytical and deal with the funding of sport in Zagreb, the economic effects of sport, the importance of management, managers and entrepreneurship in sport, management, development and construction of sports facilities criteria, analyzes the current situation of development and guidelines for successful future development.
