Abstract

Razmotreni su i naglašeni prirodno-geografski i demografski potencijali razvoja sjevernodalmatinskih otoka i njihove revitalizacijske mogućnosti. Temeljem provedene socijalno-kulturne, prirodno-geografske, demografske i gospodarske analize primijećeni su razni razvojni nedostaci i nesrazmjeran demografsko-gospodarski razvoj u odnosu na potencijal razvoja sjevernodalmatinskih otoka. Obzirom na dobivene rezultate predložene su mjere i koncepti razvojnih mogućnosti i modeli prostorne, demografske i gospodarske obnove. Ciljevi rada su: prikazati sve posebnosti koje proizlaze iz prirodno-društvene osnove, položaja i smještaja sjevernodalmatinskih otoka, prikazati trenutna demografska i gospodarska kretanja, prostorni razmještaj stanovništva i njegove osnovne strukture, izraditi kvalitetne demografske i gospodarske revitalizacijske modele, s ciljem ukupnog regionalnog razvoja koji se temelji na stanovništvu kao najvećem potencijalu svakog prostora.

Abstract (english)

The thesis discusses and emphasize physical geographical characteristics and population potential development of North Dalmatian islands and their revitalization possibilities. Based on social-cultural, physical, demographical and economical analysis, several development disadvantages and unproportional demographic and economic development in relation to the development potential of North Dalmatian islands has been perceived. In regard to given results, several measures and concepts of development possibilities and models of spatial, demographic and economic revitalization are suggested. The objectives of the research were to point out all the advantages of physical and social features, location and placement of North Dalmatian islands, to interpret current demographic and econimic development, spatial disposition and main demographic structures of island population, development of qualitative demographic and economic revitalization models, with a view to alltogether regional development based on North Dalmatian islands' population.
