Abstract

Ovaj rad bavi se vojno-geografskom analizom operacije ''Kozjak 95'' koja je provedena u sklopu operacije Oluje pod ZP Split. Istraživanjem je obuhvaćeno Sjevernodalmatinsko bojište odnosno područje Šibensko-kninske, Zadarske županije i pogranični prostor sa BiH. Analiza je provedena u GIS-u primjenom OCOKA (promatranje i područja paljbe, zaklanjanje i prikrivanje, prepreke, ključni teren, avenije prilaza) metode, a može se podijeliti na analizu zaštitnog potencijala reljefa i analizu prohodnosti terena. Parametri korišteni u analizi zaštitnog potencijala reljefa su vidljivost, domet paljbe, zakrivljenost i ekspozicija padine, gustoća dolinske mreže i ponikava te način korištenja zemljišta. U analizi prohodnosti kao relevantni parametri su korišteni nagib, vegetacija, gustoća ponikava i dolinske mreže te gustoća naselja i prometne mreže. Rezultat je klasificiran i preklopljen s pravcima kretanja hrvatske vojske te položajima neprijateljske vojske. Na taj način dobivena je usporedna analiza terena za obje strane.

Abstract (english)

This paper presents military-geographical analysis of the ''Kozjak 95'' operation which was carried out as a part of the Operation Storm. The research area covered the North Dalmatian battlefield which included the area of Šibenik-Knin county, Zadar County and border area with BiH. The analysis was carried out using OCOKA (O – Observation and Fields of Fire, C – Cover and Concealment, O – Obstacles, K – Key Terrain, A – Avenues of Approach) method and furthermore can be divided into analysis of the relief potential index and analysis of the passage of the terrain. The parameters used in the analysis of the relief potential index where the visibility, range of fire, curvature, aspect, density, the use of land and also density of the valleys network and sinkholes. In the analysis of the passage as relevant parameters where used slope, vegetation, density of sinkholes and valleys, drainage system, traffic and settlements networks. The results are compared with the zones under the control of the opposing military forces.
