Abstract

Brojna edukacijska istraživanja pokazala su da je interaktivna nastava vrlo učinkovita u razvijanju konceptualnog razumijevanja fizike. Pokusi mogu biti vrlo korisni za aktivno uključivanje učenika u nastavni proces. U posljednje vrijeme se sve više koriste računala u pokusima. Korištenje računalnih programa olakšava prikupljanje i analizu podataka, a učenici se mogu koncentrirati na razumijevanje fizikalnih koncepata i razvoj znanstvenog načina razmišljanja što su glavni ciljevi njihovog istraživanja. Računala u pokusima usmjeravaju učenike na istraživanje fizikalnih zakona, daju im trenutnu povratnu informaciju, potiču suradnju te omogućuju učenicima aktivno sudjelovanje u istraživanju čime produbljuju njihovo razumijevanje. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je razviti interaktivne nastavne materijale uz pokuse s računalima iz mehanike. Odabrani su pokusi iz mehanike jer je mehanika temeljna disciplina u fizici. U radu je obrađena kinematika, Newtonovi zakoni, sila trenja, impuls sile te zakoni očuvanja količine gibanja i energije. Dio materijala i pokusa testiran je u školi. Iskustvo iz škole pokazalo je brojne prednosti korištenja računala u pokusima, kao što su brza i precizna mjerenja te mogućnost izvođenja pokusa koji nisu bili ostvarivi sa standardnom opremom. Učenici su bili oduševljeni korištenjem moderne tehnologije tijekom izvođenja pokusa te su bili zainteresirani za sat te samim tim aktivniji. Ideja je da ovaj diplomski rada bude pomoć sadašnjim i budućim nastavnicima u pripremanju za interaktivno izvođenje nastave.

Abstract (english)

Numerous educational studies have shown that interactive teaching is very effective in developing a conceptual understanding of physics. Experiments can be very useful for active involving students in the teaching process. Recently, the computers are increasingly used in experiments. Using computer programs facilitates data collection and analysis so that students can concentrate on understanding physical concepts and developing scientific reasoning that are the main aim of their enquiry. Computers in experiments direct students to investigation of physical laws, give them immediate feedback, encourage collaboration, and enable active participation of students in research that deepens their understanding. The aim of this diploma thesis was to develop interactive teaching materials for experiments with computers in mechanics. The experiments are selected from mechanics because the mechanics is fundamental discipline in physics. The thesis deals with kinematics, Newton's laws, friction, impulse, and the laws of conservation of momentum and energy. The part of materials and experiments were tested in school. The experience from school has shown numerous benefits of using computers in experiments, such as fast and precise measurements, and possibility to perform experiments that were not feasible with standard equipment. Students were enthusiastic about using modern technology during the performance of experiments and they were interested in class and therefore more active. The intention is that this diploma thesis helps pre-service and inservice teachers in the preparation for interactive teaching.
