Abstract

Vodoopskrba se ističe kao jedan od temelja pravilnog funkcioniranja gradova, pa tako i Grada Rovinja gdje je ona još važnija zbog turizma. Zbog sve većeg razvoja turizma, odnosno povećanja turističkih dolazaka i noćenja dolazi do povećanih potreba za vodom. Potrošnja vode u turizmu je koncentrirana u malom prostoru s velikim pritiscima u kratkom razdoblju ljetne turističke sezone zbog sezonalnosti turizma. Hoteli, resorti i kampovi su najveći potrošači vode u turizmu. Međutim, dolazi i do porasta ponude privatnog smještaja, što također utječe na rast potrošnje, iako u manjoj mjeri. Analizom je utvrđen trend produživanja sezone, odnosno povećanja noćenja izvan glavne turističke sezone što je već dovelo do povećanih potreba za vodom i u drugim mjesecima, a očekuje se nastavak toga trenda i u budućnosti. Grad Rovinj se razvija s ciljem da bude destinacija koja može privući turiste tijekom cijele godine. Posljedica toga je što je u 2018. potrošnja vode u turističke svrhe bila veća od potrošnje domaćinstava, a prema rezultatima istraživanja moglo bi doći do još većeg porasta u tom području.

Abstract (english)

Water supply stands out as one of the fundamentals of the proper functioning of cities, including the City of Rovinj. Due to the increasing development of tourism, i.e., the increase in tourist arrivals and overnight stays, there is an increased need for water. Water consumption in tourism is concentrated in a small area with high pressures in the short period of the summer season due to the seasonality of tourism. Hotels, resorts and camps are the biggest consumers of water in tourism. However, there is also an increase in the supply of private accommodation, which also affects consumption growth, albeit to a lesser extent. The analysis has determined the trend of extending the season, respectively of increasing overnight stays outside the main tourist season, which has already led to increased water needs in other months, and it is expected that this trend will continue in the future. The city of Rovinj is evolving to be a destination that can attract tourists year round. The consequence is that in 2018. the consumption of water for tourism purposes was higher than the consumption of residents, and according to the results of the research, there could be an even greater increase in that domain.
