Abstract

U ovom radu ispitati će se na koji način je pojava bolesti COVID-19 utjecala na
ponašanje mladih prilikom kupovine. Pandemija bolesti COVID-19 uvjetovala je početno
zatvaranje trgovačkih centara, ograničavanje broja posjetitelja te pojačane mjere nadzora.
Istovremeno među kupcima jača strah od zaraze. Takva situacija pogodovala je razvoju online
kupovine. Polazna hipoteza bila bi da se mladi ne boje zaraze korona virusom te da i dalje
posjećuju trgovačke centre zbog kupovine tj. da se njihov udio online kupovine nije povećao
zbog straha od zaraze već zbog ograničenja rada trgovačkih centara.

Abstract (english)

This paper aims to discover the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has on the opinions
of young people, aged 18-28, about shopping in shopping centres. The pandemic conditioned
the closing of shopping centres, limiting down the number of visitors and increased
precautionary measures. At the same time, the visitors are afraid of getting infected. This
situation favored the development and opening of many online stores. The hypothesis is that
young people aren't afraid of catching the corona virus and are still visiting shopping centres to
shop, i.e. that the increase of young people using online shops wasn't because of fear of
infection, but because of limitations set in shopping centres.
