Abstract

Rad se bavi ulogom medvedničkih potoka u povijesnom i suvremenom prostornom planiranju grada Zagreba. Nakon opisa osnovnih geomorfoloških i hidroloških karakteristika zagrebačkih potoka proučava se njihov utjecaj na razvoj Zagreba do polovice 19. stoljeća, a u narednim se poglavljima analizira uloga potoka u prostornim planovima grada Zagreba do početka 2022. godine. Analizira se i anketno istraživanje provedeno u svrhu utvrđivanja načina korištenja koridora zagrebačkih potoka i stavova stanovnika Zagreba o potencijalima njihovog razvoja. U konačnici, na temelju ankete, terenskog rada, te strane i domaće planerske prakse, predlažu se alternativne mogućnosti razvoja koridora medvedničkih potoka, uz konkretne primjere na potocima Črnomercu i Bliznecu.

Abstract (english)

The paper deals with the role of Medvednica streams in the historic and current urban planning of Zagreb. Following a basic description of geomorphological and hydrological characteristics of the streams of Medvednica, the paper discusses their influence on the historical development of Zagreb until the mid-19th Century, after which the focus switches to an analysis of their designated roles in spatial planning documents of Zagreb, up until early 2022. A poll has been conducted with the intent of determining the current use of stream corridors, as well as the citizens' opinions on their potential development. The results of the poll are analysed in the paper. Finally, based on polling, field work, and international and Croatian urban planning praxis, alternative uses for the stream corridors of Zagreb are presented – both in general, as well as on the specific examples of the Črnomerec and Bliznec streams.
