Abstract

Cipermetrin spada u skupinu piretroidnih insekticida koji su relativno nova skupina pesticida čija upotreba raste. Koristi se za kontrolu mnogih štetnika voća i povrća, usjeva, uključujući i održavanje krajolika. Djeluje kao neurotoksin i na taj način suzbija kukce. Primjenom mikronukleus testa in vivo na retikulocitima periferne krvi i alkalnog komet testa na stanicama krvi, slezene, limfnih čvorova i timusa Swiss albino miša istražen je genotoksični učinak cipermetrina. Plan pokusa sukladan je odredbama OECD 407. Miševi su svakodnevno tijekom 28 dana dobivali pripadajuću NOAEL dozu (10 mg/kg) za cipermetrin što je u vrijednosti 1/100 letalne doze LD50 za cipermetrin. Dobiveni rezultati uspoređeni su sa kontrolnom skupinom. Rezultati mikronukleus testa pokazuju da su retikulociti periferne krvi i kod muških i kod ženskih miševa podjednako osjetljivi na izlaganje cipermetrinu. Rezultati komet-testa pokazuju da su različite vrste stanica miševa različito osjetljive na izlaganje cipermetrinu, pri čemu su najosjetljiviji leukociti kod muških miševa i stanice slezene kod ženskih miševa.

Abstract (english)

Cypermethrin belongs to the pyrethroid group of insecticides that are relatively new group of pesticides that are increasing in use. It is used to control many pests of fruits and vegetables, crops, including landscape maintenance. It acts as a neurotoxin and thereby suppresses insects. The effects of cypermethrin were studied by applying in vivo micronucleus test on peripheral blood reticulocytes and alkaline comet assay on blood cells, spleen, lymph nodes and thymus of Swiss albino mouse. Plan of the experiment was consistent with the provisions of the OECD 407th. During the period of 28 days, mice were receiving the corresponding NOAEL dose (10 mg/kg) for cypermethrin which is 1 / 100 LD50 lethal dose. The results were compared with the control group. Micronucleus test results show that peripheral blood reticulocytes in male and female mice are equally susceptible to exposure to cypermethrin. Comet assay results show that the various different types of cells of mice are sensitive to exposure to cypermethrin, with the most sensitive leukocytes in male mice and spleen cells in female mice.
