Abstract

Spektroskopija apsorbirane i emitirane svjetlosti je tehnika koja se koristi već dulji niz godina. Iz dobivenih spektara se, promatranjem diskretnih emisijskih ili apsorpcijskih linija, prikupljaju informacije o sastavu promatranog uzorka. Spektroskopija svjetlosti nastale prilikom laserski induciranog sloma (LIBS) je jednostavan i brz način za analizu željenih uzoraka. Iako se ovom tehnikom lako određuje sastav materijala, dobivanje koncentracije elemenata nije trivijalan problem. Međutim, pokušat ćemo pokazati može li se i bez informacija o koncentraciji elemenata izvršiti diskriminacija uzoraka. Obradom podataka dobivenih iz spektara radijacije laserski inducirane plazme i statističkom analizom tih podataka uspoređujemo različite fragmente stakla. Pomoću dobivenih podataka zaključujemo jesu li promatrani fragmenti uzeti iz istog uzorka. Statistička analiza korištena u ovom radu jest 'Student t-test'.

Abstract (english)

Spectroscopy of absorbed or emitted light is a technique that has been in use for a number of years. From given spectrums, by studying the discrete emission and absorption lines, information about composition of samples are acquired. Spectroscopy of light emitted by laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is a simple and quick way to analyze samples. Even though this technique is useful in determining the composition of a sample, finding concentrations of certain elements is not a trivial issue. However, we are going to find out if discrimination of multiple samples is possible without information on concentrations of elements. By processing the data gather from spectrums of radiation of laser induced plazma and statistical analysis of this data we are going to compare different fragments of glass. Using the gathered data we conclude wether observed fragments have been taken out of the same source. Statistical analysis used in this work is Student t-test.
