Abstract

Geoturističko planinarenje je novi turistički proizvod, a predstavlja spoj geoturizma i planinarenja. Jedna od osobitosti geoturizma jest da se može umrežavati sa različitim rekreacijsko-turističkim aktivnostima. Najčešći problem koji se prilikom tog povezivanja javlja jest nedostatak interpretacije koja je njegovo glavno obilježje. Planinarenje je oblik rekreacijsko-turističke aktivnosti koja se sastoji od pješačenja planinama radi postizanja osobnog zadovoljstva. Prilikom planinarenja planinari se susreću s različitim reljefnim oblicima i pojavama u planinama, ali ih ne prepoznaju ili ih ne znaju protumačiti. Stoga bi ovaj novi turistički proizvod zadovoljio potrebe planinara i geoturista. Planinari bi putem interpretacije postigli edukaciju o prostoru kojim se kreću, a geoturisti bi postigli jedan od najzdravijih oblika rekreacije. Ovaj rad bavi se osmišljavanjem geoturističke planinarske poučne staze sa interpretacijskim pločama te nastoji povezati geoturizam i planinarenje na temelju njihovih zajedničkih točaka. Tema interpretacije je krški reljef na području Dabarskih kukova na srednjem Velebitu koji predstavljaju jedno od poznatijih planinarskih odredišta u Hrvatskoj.

Abstract (english)

Geotourism hiking is a new tourist product, and it represents a combination of geotourism and hiking. One of the peculiarities of geotourism is that it can be networked with different recreational-tourist activities. The most common problem that arises during this connection is the lack of interpretation, which is its main feature. Mountaineering is a form of recreational-tourism activity that consists of hiking in the mountains to achieve personal satisfaction. While hiking, mountaineers encounter different relief forms and phenomena in the mountains, but they do not recognize them or do not know how to interpret them. Therefore, this new tourist product would satisfy the needs of mountaineers and geotourists. Through interpretation, hikers would achieve education about the space they are moving through, and geotourists would achieve one of the healthiest forms of recreation. This paper deals with the design of a geotourism hiking trail with interpretation boards and tries to connect geotourism and hiking based on their common points. The theme of the interpretation is the karst relief in the area of Dabarski kukovi on the middle Velebit Mt., which represents one of the most famous hiking destinations in Croatia.
