Abstract

U novijem razdoblju zabilježene su izraženije promjene u režimu tekućica ali i mnogih stajaćica u Hrvatskoj. Vransko jezero u Dalmaciji nije izuzetak, gdje veliki problem predstavljaju izraženije varijacije klimatskih elemenata koje negativno utječu na vodostaj i količinu vode jezera te salinizacija jezera uvjetovana sušama i prodorom morske vode. U sklopu ovog rada analizirat će se novije hidrološke promjene Vranskog jezera u Dalmaciji s naglaskom na analizu trendova vodostaja i saliniteta jezera. Analizirat će se i trendovi temperature zraka i količine padalina. Cilj je utvrditi mogući utjecaj klimatskih promjena na jezero, razmotriti buduće scenarije razvoja jezera te istražiti moguća rješenja za povećanu salinizaciju jezera.

Abstract (english)

In recent times, substantial changes in the regimes of rivers and lakes in Croatia are recorded. Lake Vrana in Dalmatia is not an exception, where more pronounced variations of climate elements and the salinisation of the lake, influenced by droughts and intrusion of sea water, pose a significant problem which negatively affect the water level and the amount of water in the lake. As a part of this thesis, recent hydrological changes of Lake Vrana in Dalmatia will be analysed, with an emphasis on the analysis of water level and lake salinity trends. Trends in air temperature and precipitation will also be analysed. The goal is to determine a possible influence of climate change on the lake, to discuss possible future scenarios for the development of the lake and to research possible solutions for the increasing salinisation of the lake.
