Abstract

Javni prijevoz je ekonomičniji, energetski učinkovitiji te ekološki prihvatljiviji oblik prijevoza u odnosu na osobni prijevoz. Solucija u rješavanju problema zagušenja u gradskom prometu može biti organizacija javnog prijevoza. Također javni prijevoz ima važnost u jednostavnijem i bržem povezivanju ljudi i prostora. Bjelovar nema razvijeni javni prijevoz. U radu se analiziraju trenutni prometni problemi u Gradu Bjelovaru te se istražuje mogućnost organizacije javnog prijevoza. Pri izradi rada korištene su jednostavne statističke metode, kartografska vizualizacija korištenjem GIS alata te kvalitativna metoda intervjua. Korišteni su primarni i sekundarni izvori podataka. Rezultati su pokazali kako u Gradu Bjelovaru postoje problemi s manjkom parkirnih mjesta i prevelikim pritiskom na postojeću prometnu infrastrukturu. Također metodom intervjua utvrđeno je kako bi većina građana koristila javni prijevoz u slučaju njegovog uvođenja. Doprinos ovog rada očituje se u urbanom i prometnom planiranju u okviru prijedloga organizacije javnog prijevoza na području Grada Bjelovara prema rezultatima analize, postojećoj infrastrukturi i potrebama građana.

Abstract (english)

Public transport is a more economical, energy efficient and environmentally friendly form of transport compared to personal transport. The solution to solving the problem of congestion in city traffic can be the organization of public transport. Public transport is also important in connecting people and space more easily and quickly. Bjelovar does not have developed public transport. The paper analyzes current transport problems in the City of Bjelovar and explores the possibility of organizing public transport. Simple statistical methods, cartographic visualization using GIS tools and qualitative interview methods were used in the preparation of the paper. Primary and secondary data were used. The results showed that in the City of Bjelovar there are problems with a lack of parking spaces and excessive pressure on the existing transport infrastructure. It was also determined through the interview method that the majority of citizens would use public transport in the event of its introduction. The contribution of this work is reflected as a part of urban and transport planning in the proposal for the organization of public transport in the area of the City of Bjelovar according to the results of the analysis, the existing infrastructure and the needs of citizens.
