Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu proučavali smo kako se numerička metoda Runge-Kutta četvrtog reda može primijeniti na problem početnih i problem rubnih uvjeta koji se javljaju u fizici. U kasnijoj fazi istraživanja primijenili smo metodu na rješavanje konkretnih fizikalnih problema kao što su oscilacije matematičkog njihala i rješavanje Schroedingerove jednadžbe za beskonačno duboku potencijalnu jamu.

Abstract (english)

In this diploma thesis we studied the numerical Runge-Kutta fourth order method which was applied to solve the problem of initial and the boundary condition problems that occur in physics. In a later stage of the research we applied the method to solve concrete physical problems such as fluctuations of mathematical pendulum and solving the Schroedinger equation for the infinitely deep potential well.
