Abstract

Kloroplasti su plastidi s pigmentom klorofilom, sposobni obavljati fotosintezu čime stvaraju hranu biljnim stanicama. Struktura im je kompleksna te osim dvostruke ovojnice koja obavija organel, postoji i unutrašnja, tilakoidna membrana. Prostori koji nastaju ovim membranama specifični su i mjesta su sinteze različitih molekula od kojih neke moraju biti prenesene u drugi prostor. Problem transporta molekula u citosolu biljnih stanica riješava se vezikularnim transportom što podrazumijeva pupanje vezikula ispunjenih teretnom molekulom na donorskoj membrani te stapanje s akceptorskom membranom i ispuštanje transportirane molekule u njenu unutrašnjost. Istraživanja su pokazala da postoji vezikularni transport i unutar kloroplasta. Ovim seminarom pokušavaju se obuhvatiti dosadašnje spoznaje o potencijalnim sustavima unutar kloroplasta homolognim citosolnom vezikularnom transportu. Iako su identificirane neke komponente potencijalnog vezikularnog transporta kloroplasta, nisu još posve utvrđene njihove uloge kao ni cjelokupni mehanizam.

Abstract (english)

Chloroplasts are plastids containing the pigment chlorophyll, capable of photosynthesising by which they produce nutrients. Their structure is complex; in addition to the chloroplast envelope which is formed by a double membrane, chloroplasts have an internal, thylakoid membrane. Spaces that are formed by these membranes are places of synthesis of various molecules, some of which have to be transferred into a diffenrent space. Problem of transport of molecules in the cytosol of plant cells is solved by vesicular transport, which is perpetrated by budding of vesicles filled with cargo molecules from a donor membrane and fused with acceptor membrane resulting in releasing the cargo molecules inside. Research has shown presence of vesicular transport in chloroplasts. Aim of this review is to cover so far acquired knowledges of putative chloroplast transport system homologous to the vesicle transport in cytosol. Even though some of the componentes of putative chloroplast vesicle transport are identified, their roles are not precisely determined neither as the complete mechanism.
