Abstract
U radu se analiziraju ponikve šireg područja Imotskog polja. Na temelju njihovih morfoloških i morfostrukturnih obilježja područje istraživanja podijeljeno je na tri cjeline: brdsko zaravanski prostor, vapnenački rub polja i polje. U radu se razmatra utjecaj litologije, geološke strukture, klime, vegetacije i podzemnih voda na nastanak ponikava. Ponikve su klasificirane prema relativnom stadiju razvoja. Abstract (english)
This thesis analyzes the sinkholes the wider area of Imotsko polje. Based on their morphological characteristics and morphological structures this research is divided into three separate units: hill-plateau area, limestone edge of the field and the field. This thesis discusses the effect of lithology, geological structure, climate, vegetation and groundwater on the formation of sinkholes.
