Abstract

Polazeći od činjenice da na području Srednje Dalmacije u vrijeme turističke sezone izbijaju česti požari s katastrofalnim posljedicama za okoliš i značajnim štetama turizmu i drugim djelatnostima, u ovom radu biti će pokazano kako se uz pomoć GIS alata može napraviti analiza postojećih podataka u svrhu procjene ugroženosti od požara u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji. Tijekom rada prikupljeni su podaci koji utječu na nastajanje požara otvorenog tipa: klimatski (temperatura), topografski (ekspozicija, nagib padine), vegetacijski (CORINE Land Cover, NDVI) i antropogeni (ceste, željeznička pruga, dalekovodi, naselja) čimbenici. U radu je pokazan način korištenja ArcView GIS softvera u svrhu poboljšanja preventivnih mjera. One su nužne s obzirom na veliku količinu požara koja pogodi ove prostore za vrijeme ljetnih mjeseci.

Abstract (english)

Considering the fact that in Central Dalmatia, during the tourist season, forest fires occur very frequently causing catastrophic damages on the environment, influencing tourism and other industries. This paper will demonstrate how using GIS tools can make a analysis of existing data to assess vulnerability from fire in the Splitsko-Dalmatinska County. The collected data that affect the occurrence of a open fire include climatic (temperature), topography (aspect,slope), vegetation (CORINE Land Cover, NDVI) and anthropogenic (roads, railways, transmission line, settlements) factors. The article shows how to use ArcView GIS software in order to improve preventive measures. They are necessary due to the large amount of fire that occur in this area during the summer months.
