Abstract

Medvednica, gora koja je većim svojim dijelom zaštićena kao park prirode, predstavlja prostor sa dobrom perspektivom razvoja turističke i/ili rekreacijske funkcije. Položaj Medvednice u gotovo milijunskom okruženju odredio je njenu usmjerenost ka održivom razvoju rekreacijske funkcije. Turizam na Medvednici je moguć, posebice prihvatljivi oblici turizma (ekoturizam, kulturni turizam), ali nije u skladu s ekološkom važnošću Medvednice. U radu će biti prikazani postojeći potencijali Medvednice, aktualni programi i projekti, te smjernice za budući razvoj na temelju rezultata ankete.

Abstract (english)

Medvednica, a mountain that enjoys protection as a Natural Park in its major part, represents an environment with good perspective for the development of tourism and/or its recreational function. A fact that Medvednica is situated in an environment of almost million of inhabitants focused it on the sustainable development of its recreational function. Although the tourism, especially its acceptable forms (ecotourism, cultural tourism) is possible there, it is not in compliance with the ecological importance of Medvednica. Existing potentials of Medvednica, actual programmes and projects will be shown in this work, as well as the guidelines for its future development provided on basis of the questionnaire results.
