Abstract

U radu se razmatra utjecaj vjerskog turizma na razvoj Međugorja, povijesni pregled razvoja vjerskog turizma u Međugorju, obilježja smještajnih kapaciteta od 1981. godine do 2010. godine. Ističe se da je vjerski turizam glavni pokretač razvoja Međugorja i njegova najvažnija privredna perspektiva, te se razmatraju osnovne prirodne i antropogene prednosti, nedostaci, mogućnosti i opasnosti u turističkom razvoju. Nastoji se utvrditi koji su oblici turizma uz vjerski turizam zastupljeniji te koji su pogodniji za razvoj Međugorja. Ujedno se razmatra kako je vjerski turizam utjecao na fizionomske promjene Međugorja te na njegov demografski, ekonomski i urbani razvoj. Ističe se arhitektonski kaos te loša komunalna infrastruktura kao glavne negativne posljedice razvoja vjerskog turizma u Međugorju.

Abstract (english)

This graduation thesis observes influence of religious tourism of Medjugorje development, historical overview development of religious tourism, features of accommodation capacity and tourist flow from 1981. until 2010. It is pointed out that religious tourism is the most important motion of Medjugorje development and his most important economic perspective, with presented basic natural and anthropological strengths, weakneses, opportunites and treathnes in tourism development. Thesis determine which forms of tourism, including religious tourism, are present and which more acceptable for Međugorje development. At the same time we are considering how religious tourism influenced on physiognomy changes in Medjugorje and on demographic, economic and urban development of Medjugorje. It is pointed out that construction disorder and bad communal infrastructure are the main negative effects of Medjugorje development.
