Abstract

Rad predstavlja analizu prometnog sustava Šibensko-kninske županije, koja ima povoljan prometno-geografski položaj unutar nacionalnih okvira, povezujući sjever i jug Hrvatske. U radu se prikazuju faktori razvoja prometa u promatranoj županiji, a zatim se analiziraju prometne mreže županije, njihov prostorni razmještaj, karakteristike, frekvencije i obujam prometa. Kvalitativnim i kvantitativnim obilježjima prometnih mreža analizira se i prikazuje razvijenost pojedinih vrsta prometa i na kraju ističu pozitivne karakteristike i nedostaci prometnog sustava županije. Kao glavna obilježja prometa županije pokazat će se dominacija cestovnog prometa, vrlo izražena sezonalnost u obujmu prometa te potreba za diversifikacijom prometa.

Abstract (english)

This paper presents an analysis of the transport system of Šibenik-Knin County, which has a significant geographical position within the country, linking north and south of Croatia. The paper outlines the factors of development of transport in the observed county, and then shows an analysis of transport networks in county, spatial distribution of networks, characteristics, frequency and volume of transport. Qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the transport networks show the development and condition of types of transport, and finally emphasize positive characteristics and shortcomings of the transport system of county. Analysis will show that main characteristics of the transport are dominance of road transport, seasonality in transport volume and the need for diversification of transport.
