Abstract

Omladinski turizam jedan je od selektivnih oblika turizma koji se intenzivno razvija u posljednjih nekoliko godina. Mladi turisti nekada su predstavljali marginaliziran segment turističkog tržišta, za razliku od danas kada imaju sve važniju ulogu na svjetskom turističkom tržištu, a turistička kretanja mladih svake godine čine sve veći udio u ukupnim svjetskim turističkim kretanjima. Sukladno svjetskim trendovima, omladinski turizam razvija se i u Hrvatskoj, a naročito u Zagrebu kao najvećem i glavnom gradu. Zagreb zahvaljujući svom povoljnom prometno-geografskom položaju posljednjih godina postaje sve privlačnija destinacija za mlade turiste, čiji stil putovanja karakterizira dinamičnost u promjeni destinacija. Povećanjem broja turista određenog profila u Zagrebu, u ovom slučaju mladih turista, stvara se potreba za prilagođavanjem turističke ponude, te se time mijenja turistička ponuda grada te njegova fizionomska, funkcionalna i socioekonomska obilježja.

Abstract (english)

Youth tourism is one of the selective forms of tourism that has very intensive development in recent years. Young tourists once represented the marginalized segment of the tourism market, unlike today when they have an increasingly important role in the global tourism market. Tourist movements of a young people are increasing rapidly and they have bigger contribution in the total international tourist movements every year. In line with global trends, youth tourism is developed in Croatia, especially in the largest and capital city of Zagreb. Zagreb, thanks to its favorable geographical position, is becoming more attractive destination for young tourists, whose style is characterized by dynamic travel, changing destinations often and fast. Because of increasing number of tourists of certain profile in Zagreb, in this case young tourists, Zagreb needs to create a special touristic offer based on their needs. By changing the touristic offer of the town, Zagreb changes its appearance, functional and socioeconomic characteristics.
