Abstract

Glavna gospodarska grana na Labinštini je do 1990. godine bila rudarstvo, odnosno eksploatacija kamenog ugljena, a danas je to turizam. Rudarska infrastruktura koja je ostala na Labinštini može se revitalizirati te turistički valorizirati. U ovom radu su, uz analizu statističkih pokazatelja današnjeg stanja turizma na Labinštini, prikazani projekti koji bi tu infrastrukturu iskoristili u turizmu ili je već iskorištavaju. Također je provedeno anketno istraživanje kojim su se ispitivali stavovi turista koji su boravili na području Labinštine o interesima za valorizaciju rudnika.

Abstract (english)

Up until 1990, the main branch industry in Labin area (Labinština) was mining, i.e. coal mining, and today this is tourism. Mining infrastructure that remains in Labinština can be revitalized and exploited for tourism. Next to the statistical analysis of indicators of current state of tourism in this area, this thesis also contain projects which would exploit mining infrastructure for tourism or are already doing so. A survey was carried out as well. It explores interest of tourists visiting the area, about the valorization of coal mines.
