Abstract

Na Bilogori su uzeti uzorci pijesaka iz triju lokaliteta koji se nalaze na prostorno različitim dijelovima gorja. Cilj ovog istraţivanja bio je odrediti sastav pijeska i rekonstruirati porijeklo klastičnog materijala koji izgraĎuje kvartarne sedimente Bilogore. Mikroskopskom analizom dobiveni su kvantitativni podaci o udjelu teških minerala i opisi glavnih detritičnih čestica pijesaka na lokalitetima iz mjesta Cabuna koje se nalazi u jugoistočnom dijelu Bilogore, iz mjesta Hampovica koje se nalazi u središnjem dijelu gorja i lokalitetu Mučna Reka koje se nalazi na sjeverozapadnom dijelu Bilogore. Prema postotnom udjelu teških minerala moţe se zaključiti da uzorci iz Cabune i Hampovice potječu iz Alpa i da su donešeni paleo Dravom, dok uzorak Mučna Reka potječe iz okolnih planina

Abstract (english)

Three samples of sand from separate parts of Mt. Bilogora have been taken for analysis. The goal of this resarch was to determine the composition of sand and to reconstruct the provenance of the clastic material that makes up the Quaternary sediments of Bilogora. Microscopic analysis was used to derive quantitative heavy mineral data and description of main detrital components of sands from Cabuna (located on the southeastern part of Mt. Bilogora), Hampovica (located in the central part of the mountain) and Mučna Reka on the northwest. According to the percentages of heavy minerals, it can be concluded that the samples from Cabuna and Hampovica originate from the Alps and that they have been enacted by paleo-Drava River system, while sand from Mučna Reka originates from surrounding mountains.
