Abstract

Zadatak ovog diplomskog rada bio je uskladiti podatke za pritisak u ovisnosti o temperaturi u Yang-Mills teoriji s efektivnim modelom. Čestični sadržaj efektivnog modela su konstituentni gluoni i glueballi. Uz to, model sadrži i ”interpolirajuće polje” čiji je zadatak kontrolirati čestični sadržaj u ovisnosti o temperaturi. Vrijednost interpolirajućeg polja kontrolira efektivni potencijal koji se sastoji od kvadratičnog i kvartičnog dijela. Pronađeni su koeficijenti ovog potencijala usklađujući pritiske efektivnog modela i Yang-Mills teorije na rešetci. Tako kalibriran model ima potencijal da bude koristan za fenomenologiju kompaktnih zvijezda gdje bi se koristio pri računu jednadžbe stanja na konačnoj gustoći.

Abstract (english)

The goal of this diploma thesis was to match the existing Yang-Mills theory temperature-dependent pressure lattice data with an effective mean-field model. Particle constituents of the effective model are constituent gluons and glueballs. Additionally, the model also contains an interpolating bag field whose purpose is to control the particle content in dependence on temperature. Value of the bag field is controled by an effective potential which comprises of a quadratic and a quartic term. This potential’s coefficients are calculated by fitting the effective model pressure to Yang-Mills pressure data. Such calibrated model has potential one can apply in study of phenomenology of compact stars, where it would be used to calculate finite density equation of state.
