Abstract

U ovom radu pokazali smo dva načina za računanje entropije crnih rupa koristeći tehnike konformalne teorije polja. U prvom je izračunata entropija (2+1)-dimenzionalne crne rupe čije asimptotske simetrije u beskonačnosti zadovoljavaju Virasoro algebru. Zaključili smo da je efektivna kvantna teorija polja za gravitaciju, ako postoji, konformalna. Stoga smo za brojanje stanja za poluklasičnu crnu rupu iskoristili Cardyjevu formulu za entropiju. U drugom računu izračunata je entropija N-dimenzionalne crne rupe s aksijalnom simetrijom. U tom slučaju pronadena je Virasoro algebra u pribli žnim simetrijama u blizini horizonta. Jednakom logikom kao i za (2+1)- dimenzionalni slučaj, upotrijebili smo Cardyjevu formulu. Rezultat dobiven za oba slučaja slaže se sa Bekenstein-Hawkingovom entropijom.

Abstract (english)

We demonstrate two ways of calculating the black hole entropy by using conformal field theory techniques. First we calculate the entropy of a (2+1)- dimensional black hole whose asymptotic symmetries at infinity satisfy the Virasoro algebra. We conclude that, if there is such a theory as an effective quantum field theory for gravity, it should be a conformal one. To count the microstates of the semiclassical black hole we used Cardy’s formula for entropy in conformal field theory at high temperatures. In the second part we calculated the entropy of an N-dimensional axially symmetric black hole. In this case the Virasoro algebra is found for the near-horizon asymptotic symmetries. Following the same line of thought, again we used the Cardy formula to obtain the entropy. In both cases the results are consistent with the Bekenstein-Hawking formula for entropy.
