Abstract

U ovom radu opisane su bolesti školjkaša koje najčešće zahvaćaju uzgojna područja. To su: iridoviroza, bonamioza, marteilioza, haplosporidioza, mikrocitoza i perkinsoza. Uzročnici bolesti su različiti nametnički protisti ili virusi. Iako se simptomi bolesti razlikuju, inficirani školjkaši najčešće djeluju prozirno i „mršavo“ jer im je zbog oboljenja zaustavljen rast. Kod perkinsoze uočljive su ciste u plaštu, dok kod bonamioze simptomi nisu vidljivi, nego je prvi znak povećani mortalitet. Budući da bolesti nisu iskorjenjive nužno je provođenje mjera zaštite koje najviše ovise o samim uzgajivačima. Čim se uoče prvi simptomi bilo koje bolesti treba odmah reagirati i poduzeti mjere opreza. Zaražene vrste ne smiju se prenositi u nezaražena područja i obrnuto. U Republici Hrvatskoj sve navedene bolesti regulirane su zakonom.

Abstract (english)

This work describes diseases that most commonly affect shellfish breeding areas. These are: iridovirosis, bonamiosis, marteiliosis, haplosporidiosis, microcytosis and perkinsosis. The causes of disease are different parasitic protists and viruses. Although symptoms vary, infected bivalve usually look transparently and "skinny" because its growth is stunted due to the illness. At perkinsosis there are visible cysts in the mantle, while in bonamiosis symptoms are not visible, but the first sign of disease is increased mortality. Since the diseases are not possible to eradicate, it is necessary to implement protection measures which are most dependent on the farmers themselves. As soon as the first symptoms of any disease are noticed it is important to react immediately and take precautions. Infected species must not be transferred to uninfected areas and vice versa. All of these diseases are regulated by law in Croatia.
