Abstract

Danas su preslice (razred Equisetatae) predstavljene samo jednim rodom – rodom Equisetum. S obzirom da se današnji predstavnici razlikuju veoma malo od prvobitnih preslica koje su se javili još u paleozoiku, smatramo ih živim fosilima. U Hrvatskoj danas ima 9 predstavnika (u svijetu ih je ukupno 15). U ovom seminarskom radu izložene je kratak pregled vrsta u Hrvatskoj. To su E. arvense, E. fluviatile, E. hyemale, E. palustre, E. pratense, E. ramosissimum, E. sylvaticum, E. telmateia te E. variegatum.

Abstract (english)

Today, the horsetails (class Equisetatae) are represented by only one genus, the genus Equisetum. Given that today's representatives differ very little from the original horsetails that have occured in paleozoic, we consider them a living fossils. In Croatia there are 9 representatives (in world there are 15). This seminar presents a brief overview of species in Croatia. These are E. arvense, E. fluviatile, E. hyemale, E. palustre, E. pratense, E. ramosissimum, E. sylvaticum, E. telmateia and E. variegatum.
