Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad predstavlja uvod u Fibonaccijeve brojeve. U prvom poglavlju definiramo Fibonaccijeve brojeve, dokazujemo identitete s njima, te navodimo neka osnovna svojstva. U drugom dijelu rada objašnjavamo vezu zlatnog reza s Fibonaccijevim brojevima. Također otkrivamo prisutnost zlatnog reza i Fibonaccijevih brojeva u umjetnosti, arhitekturi i prirodi.

Abstract (english)

This thesis is presented as an introduction to the Fibonacci sequence. In the first chapter we define Fibonacci numbers, give some identities involving them and prove some of their basic properties. In the second chapter we explain what the golden ratio is and its relationship to the Fibonacci sequence. Also we detect the occurrence of the golden section and Fibonacci numbers in art, architecture and nature.
