Abstract

Fauna leptira iz porodica Pyralidae i Crambidae u Hrvatskoj je neistražena. Velik broj vrsta
obitava na tipovima staništa od kojih su neka u Hrvatskoj kritično ugrožena, npr. na livadnim,
vlažnim ili pješčanim staništima. Određeni broj vrsta može činiti ekonomsku štetu na
šumskim ekosustavima, poljoprivrednim kulturama ili uskladištenim prehrambenim
proizvodima. Jedan od nužnih preduvjeta za djelatnu zaštitu biološke raznolikosti ili praćenje
rasprostranjenja i ugroženosti vrsta je popisivanje faune. Izrađen je prvi popis vrsta tih
porodica za Hrvatsku. Analizirani su svi dostupni povijesni i recentni literaturni podaci,
muzejske entomološke zbirke, a dobiveni podaci nadopunjeni su rezultatima vlastitih
terenskih istraživanja. Izvršena je ekološka i biogeografska analiza vrsta za tri klimatski
različita područja Hrvatske (kontinentalno, planinsko i mediteransko područje). U svrhu
utvrđivanja stupnja istraženosti faune u Hrvatskoj, dobiveni podaci uspoređeni su s podacima
dobro istraženih susjednih zemalja (Mađarske, Austrije, Slovenije i Italije). Identificirane su
vrste rijetkih leptira, vodenih leptira, stranih i invazivnih vrsta, vrsta koje mogu činiti
ekonomsku štetu te vrste koju predstavljaju novije faunističke elemente ili koje novijim
istraživanjima nisu ponovno potvrđene. Usto su potvrđeni nalazi nekih vrsta nakon više od
100 godina. Rezultati provedenog istraživanja predstavljaju važan i velik doprinos
poznavanju raznolikosti i sastava faune iz porodica Pyralidae i Crambidae Hrvatske te bitnu
podlogu za daljnja istraživanja vrsta, posebno vrsta od velikog ekološkog i biološkog interesa.

Abstract (english)

The fauna of Pyralidae and Crambidae in Croatia is insufficiently known. Many species
inhabit different types of habitats like grassland, wetland or sand habitats, out of which some
are critically endangered in Croatia. Some species can cause serious economic damage on
forrest ecosystems, agriculture or stored products. An important precondition to adequate
protection of biodiversity, monitoring of species distribution or conservation status is the
creation of species lists. A first checklist of these two families in Croatia was created. All
available literature data from historic and recent papers was analysed, entomological
collections from museums were examined and the data was supplemented with results from
own field surveys. An ecological and biogeographical analysis was performed for three
different climatic regions of Croatia (continental, mountainous and mediterranean region). In
order to determine the exploration level of Pyraloid moth fauna in Croatia the data was
compared with faunas of well-explored neighbouring countries (Hungary, Austria, Slovenia
and Italy). Some rare species, aquatic species, alien and invasive species, pest species, newer
faunal elements and species that have not been reconfirmed during recent investigation were
identified. Some findings from historic documents older then 100 years have been
reconfirmed. The results of the conducted research are a great contribution to the knowledge
of diversity and overall moth fauna from these families in Croatia, and represent an important
basis for future research, especially species of great ecological and biological interest.
