Abstract
Ljudi još od davnina nastoje definirati život i otkriti njegovo porijeklo, ali dosad bezuspješno. Međutim, razna otkrića u području sintetske biologije znanstvenicima su otvorila vrata mnogim mogućnostima, većina njih usko povezanih uz pojam života. Zato se daljnjim istraživanjima nastoje razotkriti misteriji života i dizajnirati umjetni život. U tom procesu stečeno je puno korisnog znanja koje se učinkovito primjenjuje na raznim područjima. U ovom radu predstavljen je termin život 2.0 – to je život, ali ne onakav kakvog poznajemo. Pregledom raznih istraživanja tijekom posljednja dva desetljeća ukratko su prikazane samo neke od mnogih ideja, planova, mogućnosti i prednosti koje nudi život 2.0 i kako ga je moguće stvoriti.
Abstract (english)
People have been trying to define life and discover its origin from long ago, but so far without success. However, a variety of discoveries in the field of synthetic biology has opened the door for scientists towards many possibilities, most of which are closely related to the notion of life. That's why further research seeks to unravel the mysteries of life and succeed in creating artificial life. A lot of useful knowledge that is well applied in various fields was acquired in the process. This paper introduces the term life 2.0 – it's life, but not as we know it. Through review of various researches over the last two decades, it shows only some of many ideas, plans, possibilities and advantages that life 2.0 offers and how it can be created.
