Abstract

U ovom radu računa se i analizira sjena odbojnog Rutherfordovog raspršenja. Rad je generalizacija prijašnjeg rada kolege Topića [1], koji se bavio analiziranjem sjene u sustavu mirne mete i u sustavu centra mase. U ovom se radu analiza sjene poopćuje na kogibajući inercijalni sustav koji se giba paralelno početnoj brzini projektila. Prvo se izlaže pregled rezultata potrebnih za proračune u ovom radu, zatim se izvodi putanja projektila u kogibajućem sustavu koristeći izraz za putanju u sustavu mirne mete. U detalje se izvodi dobivanje putanje projektila. Sjena odbojnog Rutherfordovog raspršenja odreduje se numerički pomoću programskog paketa Python. Za razliku od sustava mirne mete i sustava centra mase, u kogibajućem sustavu neće uvijek postojati sjena. Navode se uvjeti na brzine nužni za nastajanje sjene. Detaljno se prikazuje i postupak dobivanja sjene za jako malene i jako velike vrijednosti radijalne koordinate. Pokazuje se da za velike vrijednosti radijalne koordinate sjena izgleda kao parabola. Analiziraju se kutovi raspršenja u ovisnosti o brzini gibanja kogibajućeg sustava te početnoj brzini projektila. Određuje se i raspon kutova raspršenja ovisno o brzinama.

Abstract (english)

In this work, the shadow of repulsive Rutherford scattering is calculated and analyzed. The work is generalization of previous work by colleague Topić [1] where the shadow analysis in the center-of-mass frame and the fixed-target frame was performed. Shadow analysis is generalized to the laboratory frame, moreover to the entire class of inertial frames moving parallel to the initial projectile velocity. First, the results to be used later in derivations are introduced. After that, projectile trajectory in the inertial frame is derived using expression for projectile trajectory in fixed-target frame. Shadow of repulsive Rutherford scattering is calculated numerically using Python. In the inertial frame there will be a condition on velocities for shadow existence. Therefore, the conditions on velocities for shadow existence are shown. The procedure for obtaining shadow for very small and very large values of radial coordinate is presented in detail. It is shown that for large values of radial coordinate, shadow is parabolic in shape. Additionally, dependency of scattering angles on inertial frame velocity and projectile initial velocity is examined. Furthermore, range of scattering angles is determined.
