Abstract

Na području Republike Hrvatske zabilježeno je 35 vrsta šišmiša, od kojih se jedna vrsta smatra regionalno izumrla. Kako bi bolje razumjeli ekologiju šišmiša i time pomogli njihovoj zaštiti, potrebno je sagledati i njihove ektoparazite, kao jedne od potencijalnih prenositelja bolesti među šišmišima. U ovom radu su obrađeni ektoparaziti uzorkovani s 21 vrste šišmiša s nekoliko lokaliteta s područja Hrvatske. Cilj ovog rada je sastaviti osnovni popis ektoparazita šišmiša s područja Hrvatske za daljnja istraživanja ektoparazita šišmiša.

Abstract (english)

There are 35 species of bats in Croatia, but one species is considered regionally extinct. In order to better understand the ecology of bats, thus helping their protection, it is necessary to examine their ectoparasites as one of the potential carriers of disease among bats. This paper deals with ectoparasites sampled from 21 species of bats from several sites from Croatia. The aim of this paper is to compile a basic list of ectoparasites of bats from Croatia for further research of ectoparasites of bats.
