Abstract

Na području planine Biokovo do danas je bilo poznato 13 svojti dvojenoga. Pregledom materijala dvojenoga iz Zbirke Hrvatskog biospeleološkog društva te jednim terenskim istraživanjem, taj se broj povećao za šest pa je ukupan broj dosad poznatih dvojenoga na Biokovu 19. Ponovnom determinacijom dijela materijala i determinacijom novo prikupljenog materijala iz 76 speleoloških objekata, utvrđeno je 11 svojti. Od ukupno šest novih svojti za Biokovo, dvije su nove za znanost. Prema ekološkoj... More klasifikaciji, zabilježeno je pet troglobionata, tri troglofila, dva subtroglofila te devet trogloksena. Ukupno je zabilježeno šest endema dvojenoga na Biokovu. Jedinkama je određena dobno-spolna struktura koja je pokazala da su u populaciji najbrojnije juvenilne jedinke, zatim ženke pa mužjaci. Abstract (english)

Up to date 13 species of diplopods have been recognized in the Mt. Biokovo area. Through analysis of the samples collected by the Croatian Biospeleological Society and an additional field study, the number of diplopod species in this area has risen to 19. Repeated determination of all analysed samples collected from 76 speleological objects, revealed 11 species, raising the total number of diplopods on Mt. Biokovo to 19. According to the ecological classification, a total of five troglobite, three troglophile, two subtroglophile, and nine trogloxene species have been noted. In total, six endemic diplopod species for Mt. Biokovo have been found. Age-sex structure revealed that juvenile animals were the most numerous in the population, followed by females and males. For each species, a habitat list was updated and site locations were charted.
