Abstract

Istraživanje je obavljeno u Botaničkom vrtu u razdoblju od ožujka do lipnja 2010. godine. Cilj je ovog istraživanja utvrditi kvalitativni i kvantitativni sastav ptica gnjezdarica Botaničkog vrta PMF-a u Zagrebu. Zabilježeno je 17 vrsta ptica od kojih 9 vrsta pripada pticama stanaricama, a 8 vrsta selicama. Dominantne vrste su poljski vrabac (Passer montanus) s 27,69 para na 10 ha, crnokapa grmuša (Sylvia atricapilla) s 25,56 para na 10 ha, kos (Turdus merula) s 23,43 para na 10 ha i žutarica (Serinus serinus) s 19,17 para na 10 ha. Za procjenu gustoće ptica gnjezdarica primijenjena je apsolutna metoda. Shannon-Wienerov indeks biološke raznolikosti iznosi 2,41, a indeks ujednačenosti 0,85. Kvalitativna usporedba ptica gnjezdarica ovog istraživanja i istraživanja od prije dvadeset godina u Botaničkom vrtu izračunata je pomoću Sørensenovog indeksa sličnosti i iznosi 81,08 %.

Abstract (english)

The study was conducted in the Botanical garden of the period from March to June 2010. The aim of this study was to determine the qualitative and quantitative composition of the birds breeding in Botanical garden of Faculty of Science in Zagreb. It was reported 17 species of birds, of wich 9 species belonging to the resident and 8 species of migratory birds. The dominant species are tree sparrow (Passer montanus) with 27.69 pairs per 10 ha, blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla) with 25.56 pairs per 10 ha, blackbird (Turdus merula) with 23.43 pairs per 10 ha and the serin (Serinus serinus) with 19.17 pairs per 10 ha. To estimate the density of birds breeding has been applied to the absolute method. Shannon-Wiener biodiversity index is 2.41 and uniformity index of 0.85. Qualitative comparison of birds breeding in Botanical garden was calculated using the Sørensen similarity index and is 81.08 %.
