Abstract

Zeoliti su mikroporozni kristalni materijali koje karakterizira uređeni sustav šupljina i kanala u
strukturi. Koriste se kao ionski izmjenjivači, molekulska sita i katalizatori u raznim granama
kemije kao i u industriji. U ovom radu sintetiziran je zeolitni materijal strukturnog tipa BEA
koji je zatim korišten kao polazni spoj za interzeolitnu pretvorbu u visokosilikatni materijal
strukturnog tipa CHA, SSZ-13. Uzorci su pripravljeni hidrotermičkom sintezom u lužnatim
uvjetima uz dodatak organskog usmjerivača strukture. Nadalje, pripravljen je bakrom
modificiran zeolitni materijal Cu-SSZ-13 koji se koristi za selektivnu katalitičku redukciju
dušikovih spojeva. U sklopu rada proučen je utjecaj kalijevog odnosno natrijevog kationa
prisutnog u reakcijskoj smjesi, kao i različite koncentracije korištenog usmjerivača strukture
N,N,N-trimetil-1-adamantilamonijevog hidroksida na svojstva sintetiziranog materijala.

Abstract (english)

Zeolites are microporous crystalline materials characterized by an ordered system of cavities
and channels in the structure. They are used as ion exchangers, molecular sieves and catalysts
in various branches of chemistry as well as in the industry. In this diploma thesis, BEA
framework type zeolite material was synthesized, which was then used as a starting material
for interzeolite conversion into a high-silica material of the zeolite framework type CHA, SSZ13. The samples were prepared via hydrothermal synthesis under alkaline conditions with the
addition of an organic structure directing agent. Furthermore, a copper modified Cu-SSZ-13
zeolite material was prepared, which is used for the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen
compounds. As part of the thesis, the influence of the potassium or sodium cations present in
the synthesis mixture, as well as different concentrations of N,N,N-trimethyl-1-
adamantylammonium hydroxide as a structure directing agent, on the properties of the
synthesized material was studied.
