Abstract

Tumori nastaju spontanim mutacijama u organizmu koje mogu biti potaknute vanjskim
faktorima poput, primjerice, UV zračenja ili različitih kemijskih agenasa, ili djelovanjem virusa,
bakterija i parazita. Danas je poznato više virusnih skupina i virusa koji imaju onkogeno djelovanje
na čovjeka, kao što su: herpesvirusi: Epstein-Barrov virus (EBV) i humani herpes virus tip 8
(HHV-8) , hepatitis B virus (HBV) , hepatitis C virus (HCV), virus humane imunodeficijencije
(HIV), humani papiloma virus (HPV), ljudski T-stanični limfotropni virus (HTLV) te polioma
virus Merkelovih stanica (MCV). Utjecaj tih virusa na stanicu može biti direktan ili indirektan. Svi
navedeni onkogeni virusi se razlikuju po strukturi, stanicama koje napadaju, bolestima i
simptomima koje izazivaju. Uz izbjegavanje pušenja i UV zračenja, redovitim odlaskom na
liječničke preglede, cijepljenjem, zdravom prehranom i korištenjem krema sa zaštitnim faktorom
smanjujemo mogućnost pojave tumora odnosno karcinoma.

Abstract (english)

Tumors are caused by spontaneous mutations in body that can be caused by external
factors such as UV radiation, chemical agents or by the action of viruses, bacteria and parasites.
Today, several virus groups and viruses are known that have an oncogenic effect: herpesviruses:
Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and human herpes virus 8 (HHV-8), hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus,
HIV, human papillomavirus, human T-cell lymphotropic virus and Merkel cell polyoma virus. The
role of these viruses on the cell can be direct or indirect. All the mentioned oncogenic viruses differ
in their structure, the cells they attack, the diseases and symptoms they cause. Avoiding smoking
and UV radiation, regular visits to the doctor, vaccinations, a healthy diet and using SPF creams
reduce the possibility of the appearance of cancers.
