Abstract
Algebarske konstrukcije pravilnih \(n\)-terokuta svedene su na konstrukcije rješenja ciklotomske jednadžbe \(z^n -1 = 0\). U ovom diplomskom radu razlikuju se dva tipa konstrukcija: elementarne konstrukcije (izvedive samo ravnalom i šestarom) te konstrukcije trisekcijom kuta (uz dodatno korištenje trake papira). Algebarskom metodom elementarno su konstruirani pravilni trokut, četverokut, peterokut i sedamnaesterokut. Općenito, pravilan \(n\)-terokut može se konstruirati ravnalom i šestarom ako i samo ako je \(n\) potencija broja \(2\) ili je \(n\) produkt potencije broja \(2\) i konačno mnogo različitih Fermatovih prostih brojeva. Posebno, pravilni sedmerokut, deveterokut i trinaesterokut nije moguće elementarno konstruirati. U ovom radu njihove su konstrukcije izvedene trisekcijom kuta.
