Abstract | Koštica badema (Prunus amygdalus) i koštica marelice (Prunus armeniaca) već su stoljećima prisutne kao dio zdrave i uravnotežene prehrane čovjeka. Obiluju nezasićenim masnim kiselinama, proteinima, mineralima i vitaminima. |
Abstract (english) | Almond kernel (Prunus amygdalus) and apricot kernel (Prunus armeniaca) have been present for centuries as part of a healthy and balanced human diet. They are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, proteins, minerals and vitamins. As a result of human action, toxic substances enter the enivornment and through soil and air, they may enter these kernels where they can be accumulated and thus be present in excessive amounts. The element content was determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry after acidic digestion. The almond and apricot kernel samples were digested using nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide in a microwave assisted digestion system. The content of the following elements was determined: Li, Be, Na, Mg, Al, K, Ca, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Mo, Ag, Cd, Te, Be, Tl, Pb, Bi and U. The samples differed in the content of major and minor elements between plant species and even within the same plant species. |
