Abstract

Voda je jedna od najvažnijih tvari za živa bića. Led je jedno od agregatnih stanja vode. Led čine međusobno povezane molekule vode, dva vodika i kisik i kemijske veze među njima: vodikova i kovalentna. Led kristalizira u 15-ak različitih faza. Po vrsti materijala spada u protonske poluvodiče pošto su protoni nosioci naboja. Mjerenjem istosmjerne i izmjenične struje kroz uzorak leda zaključeno je da led jako slabo vodi struju i da po iznosu električne provodnosti spada među poluvodiče. Također je izmjerena i relativna dielektrična konstanta, koja iznosi oko 100, što je potvrdilo teoriju, ali samo u malom rasponu frekvencija ( ispod 200 Hz).

Abstract (english)

Water is the most important substance for living beings. Ice is one of the aggregate states of water. Ice is made of interconnected molecules ( two hydrogens and an oxygen) having the chemical bonds between them: hydrogen and covalent. Ice crystallizes in 15 different phases. It is a proton semiconductor because its conductivity is dominated by the proton diffusion. By measuring the AC and DC conductivity we have found that ice is a poor conductor of electricity. We have also measured the relative dielectric constant, and we have found that it is around 100, which confirms the theory, but only within narrow frequencies range ( below 200 Hz).
