Abstract

OLED, skraćenica od organske svjetleće diode, je tehnologija koja je uvelike poboljšala i doprinijela razvoju boljih i kvalitetnijih zaslona i svjetlosnih uređaja. To je tehnologija budućnosti čije vrijeme još nije u potpunosti došlo ali dolazi sigurnim korakom i malo po malo postaje glavni čimbenik u razvoju TV-a i prateće industrije. Razvojem OLED tehnologije klasični LCD zasloni odlaze u zaborav, a na scenu dolaze puno bolja i praktičnija rješenja. Osim u TV industriji, koristi se i u proizvodnji i primjeni rasvjetnih tijela, novoj generaciji tipkovnica, budućim elektroničkim papirima itd.

Abstract (english)

OLED, abbreviation from organic light-emitting diodes is technology which greatly improved and contributed to the development of better screen displays and lighting panels. It is a technology of the future that yet has to come in everyday’s life. It is steady becoming a major factor in developing TV and other supporting industry. Ordinary LCD displays are being replaced with OLED technology as a much better and more practical solution. OLED technology is also used in manufacturing and implementing lighting equipment, keyboards, the future electronically papers etc.
