Abstract

U ovom radu izneseni su rezultati mjerenja toplinskog kapaciteta jako poddopiranih uzoraka La2-xSrxCuO4 dopiranih sa x= 1.5%, 2%, 2.5%, 3% i 3.5% stroncija. U tu svrhu korištena je posebno izrađena proba bazirana na diferencijalnoj metodi mjerenja malih toplinskih kapaciteta ispod sobne temperature. Visoka osjetljivost ovakve probe potvrđena je detekcijom supravodljivog prijelaza uzorka LSCO-a dopiranja x=12.5% jako male mase. Iznesen je poseban postupak modeliranja pozadine i određivanja malih signala faznih prijelaza pri analizi dobivenih podataka. Izmjereni su vrhovi u toplinskom kapacitetu navedenih poddopiranih uzoraka za koje postoje indicije da su povezani s novim oblikom uređenja u ovim sustavima. Ako teorijski predviđena feronematska faza odgovara takvim faznim prijelazima, ona ima potencijala produbiti razumijevanje kupratnih supravodiča.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis we present the measurements of specific heat on heavily underdoped La2-xSrxCuO4 samples for strontium doping of x= 1.5%, 2%, 2.5%, 3% and 3.5%. The measurements were carried out using a home-made probe which is able to differentially measure small heat capacity at low temperatures. We have confirmed the high sensitivity of our probe by measuring the superconducting transition of a small LSCO sample of x=12.5% doping. A procedure of obtaining phase transition peaks by modeling the background of acquired data is presented. We report detection of peaks in the specific heat of mentioned samples which could be related to a new form of order. If the theoretically predicted ferronematic is this kind of order, it has the potential of deepening our understanding of cuprate superconductors.
