Abstract

U radu je prikazan historijsko-geografski razvoj Našica u okviru našičkog kraja. Povoljna prirodno-geografska obilježja kraja omogućila su rano naseljavanje i formiranje centralnog naselja Našice. Vlasnici Našica, grofovi Pejačević, imali su značajan utjecaj na gospodarski razvoj grada. Od sredine XX. stoljeća Našice doživljava preobrazbu iz agrarnog središta u industrijsko. Suvremene Našice obilježava razvoj uslužnih djelatnosti. U budućnosti treba stvoriti što bolje gospodarske i društvene uvjete s
ciljem zadržavanja mlađeg i radno sposobnog stanovništva u
Našicama.

Abstract (english)

The thesis presents a historical-geographical development of Našice within Našice region. Favorable natural and geographic features of Našice region enabled the early settlement and the formation of the Našice center. Owners of Našice, the counts of Pejačević family, had a significant impact on the economic development of the city. Since the middle of the 20th century Našice experiences the transition from an agrarian to an industrial center. Contemporary Našice is marked by development of service industry. In the future, better economic and social conditions should be met, to keep the younger and working population in Našice.
