Abstract

U ovom radu se analizira prostor Posebnog rezervata Đurđevački peski. Ovo je područje nastalo djelovanjem fluvijalnih i eolskih procesa krajem posljednjeg ledenog doba na prelasku iz pleistocena u holocen (prije oko 11 000 godina). U prošlosti ovo veliko područje danas je ograničeno na malo područje Posebnog rezervata istočno od grada Đurđevca. Prirodni fenomen ovog područja predstavljaju pijesak, za njega vezani geomorfološki procesi i oblici, te vegetacija pijesaka. Zbog prirodne sukcesije područje Rezervata sve više nastanjuju nepješčarske vrste biljaka koje potiskuju vegetaciju pijeska. Na području Rezervata obavljeno je proučavanje brzine sukcesije kojim je dokazano da se vegetacija brzo širi te zatrpava pijesak. Daje se plan poučne staze. Staza bi obuhvatila sve važne dijelove Rezervata, a ploče bi sadržavale sve relevantne činjenice, ne samo o nastanku, vegetaciji i prošlosti Rezervata, već i o problemima očuvanja i sukcesije vegetacije.

Abstract (english)

This paper analyzes the area of a special reserve of Đurđevac sands. The area was created by fluvial and Aeolian processes at the end of the last ice age, at the turn from Pleistocene in Holocene (before 11 000 years). This large area in the past is now restricted to a small area of special reserve east of town Đurđevac. The natural phenomenon of this area is sand and sand vegetation. However, due to natural succession the area is more and more populated with non sand vegetation species that suppress the unique vegetation of the sand. On the area of the reserve was made a study about the growth rate of vegetation which has shown that the vegetation is rapidly expanding and buries the sand. Further, the paper provides a plan of creation of educational path associated with five information boards. The trail includes all the important parts of the reserve and panels contain all the relevant facts, not only about the origin, vegetation and history, but also about issues of preservation and succession of vegetation.
