Abstract

Tijekom zadnjeg desetljeća u Županiji Osječko – baranjskoj je došlo do porasta ukupnog prometa, povećanja broja motornih vozila, a samim time i do povećanja broja biciklista. Upravo zbog navedenog i zbog zauzimanja prostora u središtu Osijeka, dolazi do izgradnje pješačkih i biciklističkih zona. Broj biciklističkih staza je u stalnom porastu, ali još postoje dijelovi Grada kroz koje ne prolaze biciklističke staze. Grad ulaže u izgradnju biciklističke infrastrukture kojom bi se povezali svi dijelovi grada kako bi biciklistički promet bio sigurniji, a biciklisti postali ravnopravni sudionici prometa. Abstract (english)

During the last decade the Osijek – Baranja County has seen an increase in traffic, the number of motor vehicles and the number of bicyclist. Due to these facts and the Osijek centre space being scarce, there are plans in motion to accommodate the pedestrians as well as the bicycles. The number of bicycle paths has been constantly increased, how ever, there are still paths of the city where aren’t any. Parking presents a big problem due to the lack of bicycle parking spaces.
