Abstract

Izgradnjom hidroelektrane Dubrava došlo je do promjene prirodnog okoliša. Istaknute su pozitivne i negativne strane izgradnje hidroelektrane. Izgradnjom hidrolektrane Dubrava, akumulacijsko jezero je postalo važno međunarodno stanište ptica močvarica, što je važnija pozitivna strana izgradnje hidroelektrane. Od negativnih strana treba istaknuti promjenu razine podzemnih voda koje imaju velik utjecaj na poljoprivredu i šume okolnog prostora. Treba naglasiti kako su geografske posljedice izgradnje hidroelektrane velike pa bi se trebalo spriječiti daljnje uništavanje okoliša. Potrebno je zaustaviti gradnju novih hidroelektrana nizvodno od hidroelektrane Dubrava kako bi se očuvao jedan od posljednjih poluprirodnih riječnih ekosustava.

Abstract (english)

There have been some changes in the environment caused by building Dubrava hydroelectric power plant. Both pros and cons of the hydroelectric power plant have been pointed out. One of the most important changes is the construction of the reservoir, which has become an important international habitat of swamp birds. Among downsides, the change in the level of ground waters, which have a large impact on agriculture and forests of the surrounding area, has been pointed out. It is also emphasized that there are major geographical consequences of building the hydroelectric power plant and that further destruction of the environment should be prevented. It is necessary to stop the building of new hydroelectric power plants downstream of Dubrava hydroelectric power plant in order to preserve one of the last semi-natural river ecosystems.
