Abstract

Industrijska baština Grada Zagreba je od iznimne povijesne, arhitektonske i umjetničke vrijednosti, te predstavlja značajni prostorni resurs i ekonomski potencijal za cjelokupni razvoj grada. Objekti zagrebačke industrijske baštine se nalaze na atraktivnim lokacijama u užem centru grada, no usprkos tome, još je značajan broj zanemarenih i zaboravljenih, bez jasne vizije obnove i prenamjene. Europska iskustva i trendovi upućuju na brojne uspješne primjere revitalizacije industrijske baštine, koje obnovom i uvođenjem novih funkcija pridonose regeneraciji pojedinih četvrti, gradova i regija. Objekti industrijske baštine su često značajne turističke atrakcije, nerijetko uključene u turističku ponudu. Ovim radom industrijska baština je obrađena s aspekta njezine turističke valorizacije. Cilj rada je sadržajno, prostorno i vremenski identificirati industrijsku baštinu Zagreba, istražiti percepciju građana o njezinu značenju kao turističkog potencijala, utvrditi mogućnosti njezinog turističkog vrednovanja, izdvojiti turističke potencijale zagrebačke industrijske baštine, te u konačnici ponuditi prijedlog novog turističkog proizvoda na aplikativnoj razini, temeljenog na zagrebačkoj industrijskoj baštini.

Abstract (english)

Industrial heritage of the City of Zagreb has exceptional historical, architectural and artistic value. It represents an enormous spatial resource and economic potential for overall development of the city. Despite of its position on attractive locations in the inner city center of Zagreb, there are still significant number of neglected and forgotten sites of industrial heritage, without a clear vision of renovation, revitalization and re-use. European experience and trends imply many successful examples of industrial heritage revitalization that, through renovation and implementation of new functions, contribute to the regeneration of entire urban blocks, cities and regions. Industrial heritage sites are often recognized as significant tourist attractions and, as such, included in the tourist offer. This paper discusses industrial heritage through aspect of tourist valorization. The objectives of the research were to identify the constitution, to define locations and to determinate periodization of industrial heritage of Zagreb, to explore the civic perception about the importance of industrial heritage of Zagreb as a tourism potential, to highlight possibilities for tourist valorization, to point up the tourism potential of industrial heritage in Zagreb and, finally, to offer a suggestion for a new applicative tourist product, based on industrial heritage of Zagreb.
